Xorns are outsiders in the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. Residing on the Elemental Plane of Earth, they can move through earth as freely as fish move through water.
A xorn is described as having a barrel-shaped body with trilateral radial symmetry; three arms, legs and eyes spaced around its torso. The mouth is located at the top of the body.
Xorn are indifferent to flesh-based creatures and do not hunt them for food. As earth elementals, they feed only on silicate materials, as well as precious metals and gemstones. Xorns on the Prime Material Plane have been known to attack wealthy adventurers that carry large amounts of treasure.
