An Elf, or Elves (plural), is a small creature, friendly in nature with long, pointed, horizontal ears. They usually live in large colonies within trees.
In modern movie portrayals of the Christian mythology, the Elf populace is held in slavery at the north poll, forced to make toys for 357 days a year, for less than minimum wages, and with no dental plan.
Nature
If an Elf gets attached to someone, it will help that person as much as possible to keep them happy. This is particularly good if a group of Elves decide they trust someone. That person would be thought to live happily for the rest of their lives. All Elvish tribes have an elder, who is usually blue with a long, white beard.
Norse Elves
In the original Nordic mythology, Elves were defined as lesser Vanir, or fertility gods, and acted as guardians of Bifrost.
